SEO Copywriter

What to expect

As an SEO copywriter, you’ll write content for webpages, blogs, SEO outreach content and more. Your job will be to engage the reader, educate them, help to solve a problem or motivate them to do something, such as buy a product or service. You may also write copy designed to convey valuable information about a brand, industry or issue. You’ll be working on several projects simultaneously, which makes work interesting but can feel stressful at busy times.

Who we are looking for

• 3 years copywriting experience with proven track record as part of your portfolio
• Absolute understanding of what makes a good quality article
• Highly motivated individual confirmable to work independently

Responsibilities

• Research – understand client’s industry and their target audience – you’re not writing for the client, you’re writing for their readers, so you’ll need to know what interests them
• Ideation – Identify fresh and interesting angles for your articles
• Writing – Tailor the content according to its purpose, either sell, inform or educate
• Keywords – Ensure all content is in line with SEO strategy and target keywords are incorporated
• Identify key messages – understand the main thing that you want the reader to feel and do and how to communicate this powerfully
• Formatting – Structure each article and, where required, provide images and video
• Work with creative teams to ensure that the visual elements complement the words
• Ad-hoc projects as requested

Working hours

This is REMOTE position. Your working hours are solely up to you. Our main office team is available Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm in case you need any support. Weekends and evening work might be necessary, as we work with tight deadlines, and it is important for us to meet them.
