How to give access to Google Search Console with Full Permissions

Adding Breakline to your Google Search Console account is essential for granting access to manage your website’s performance data and implement SEO strategies.

Here’s a straightforward guide to ensure you do it correctly and securely:

Step 1: Log into Google Search Console

  1. Go to Google Search Console.
  2. Sign in using the account with ownership access to the property.

Step 2: Select the Property

  1. From the dashboard, choose the correct property (domain or URL prefix) where you want to grant access.
  2. If your property isn’t listed, ensure you’ve verified it before proceeding.

Step 3: Open Settings

  1. In the left-hand menu, scroll down and click on Settings.
  2. Under the “Property Settings” section, select Users and Permissions.

Step 4: Add a New User

  1. Click on the Add User button in the top-right corner.
  2. Enter the agency’s email address. Make sure this is the email they provided for Google account access.

Step 5: Assign Permissions

  1. Choose Full as the permission level. This gives Breakline complete access to view and manage your data, but won’t be able to add or remove other users unless they’re also set as an owner.
  2. Click Add to save the changes.
